I am such a sucker for great fonts. Especially those that are a bit off the beaten path but still very usable for typesetting readable text. Font-o-rama has a real sweetheart with their font Herzchen. One look at those ligatures, the w and figures like the 2 and 5 and it swept me off my feet.
Jason Fried of 37signals spotted a new feature of a Hewlett-Packard camera... a slimming effect. Awful. However one of the commenters of Jason's post points out that the real problem is that people are actually going to buy and use this thing. I just hope he's mistaken.
